Did you know that half of all of the species of wild plants in the Netherlands can be found in the dunes of Voorne? Furthermore, two-thirds of the Dutch breeds of bird breed in that area. From Resort Città Romana you can make beautiful cycle and walking excursions through this unique nature reserve.

In addition, the extensive Goeree-Overflakkee cycle route network travels not only through the dunes, but also along the grand polder landscape and historic towns.

The children certainly won’t be bored. They can follow a treasure hunt at the Tenellaplas and visit the so-called Duinhuisjes (dune houses). These are small houses, furnished just as people used to live.
