Resort Città Romana’s varied surroundings invite you to make fun and interesting excursions and day trips.

First of all, there are beautiful nature reserves in the area. You can make splendid cycling or walking trips along the water, over the beach or through the dunes, woods and polders.

Those who enjoy water sports, will have great time at the Haringvliet: sailing, motoring in a motor boat, waterskiing and many other water sports.

The historical fortified towns of Hellevoetsluis and Brielle are really recommended: beautiful city walls, but also many outdoor cafés, and cosy cafés and restaurants in historical buildings. The world harbour city of Rotterdam is half an hour away by car, which is great for people who want to go shopping for the day.
