FAQ before arrival

From what time can I check in?

Have you booked 1 or 2 nights? Then you are welcome at our resort from 12:00 PM.
Have you booked 3 nights or more? Then you are welcome at our resort from 3:00 PM.

Can I check in during the evening or at night?

Our reception is open Monday to Friday until 8:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday until 6:00 PM.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

Yes, we require a €250 deposit per stay. This amount will be refunded within 5 working days after departure, provided that the accommodation has been left in a tidy condition.

What is included in the accommodation?

Our holiday homes are fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Upon arrival, the beds are made and 2 towels per person are provided.
In the kitchen you will find a dish towel, tea towel, cleaning cloth, and the essentials for your first cup of coffee or tea.

Is shower gel or shampoo provided in the villa?

Shower gel and shampoo are not provided in the villa. If you happen to forget these items, you can easily purchase them in our minimarket located in the main building. This way, you will have everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Is it possible to use the swimming pool without staying at Resort Città Romana?

Our swimming pool is exclusively accessible to guests staying at the resort. This allows us to ensure peace, space and comfort for our own guests.

Are pets allowed?

Dogs are very welcome at our resort. We charge a supplement of €30 per dog, with a maximum of 2 dogs per villa.

Please note that dogs are not permitted inside Restaurant Duinhoek. They are, however, welcome on the terrace.

Other pets are not allowed.

Can I book a baby cot or high chair?

Yes, that is certainly possible. You can add a baby cot and/or high chair to your reservation for €10 per item for the entire stay.

Please note that the baby cot is provided without bed linen.

Do the villas have a fenced garden?

Our villas do not standardly feature a fenced garden. If you would prefer a fenced garden, you can book a children’s villa for an additional €17.50 per stay. These villas have a fenced garden.

Can I check in during the evening or at night?

Our reception is open Monday to Friday until 8:00 PM and during the weekend until 6:00 PM.

Are you arriving later? Please feel free to contact us in advance via +31 181 334444 or receptie@cittaromana.com. We are happy to look at a suitable solution together, so you can start your stay relaxed and without any worries.

When does the payment need to be made?

After making your reservation, you will receive an invoice with two payment terms.

  • The first part must be paid within 2 weeks after booking.
  • The remaining balance is due no later than 4 weeks prior to arrival.

This way, we ensure together a smooth and worry-free preparation for your stay.

What are the cancellation conditions?

For our cancellation policy, we kindly refer you to the RECRON terms and conditions.

Free cancellation is possible up to 4 weeks prior to arrival.

Is the resort accessible by public transport?

Yes, the resort is accessible by public transport. The bus stop Provincialeweg/Voorweg is located approximately a 5-minute walk from the reception.

From Metro station Spijkenisse Centrum, there are two bus connections that travel to Provincialeweg/Voorweg, making it easy to reach the resort.

Is it possible to charge an electric car?

On the main parking area at the front of the resort, you will find 4 charging stations suitable for a total of 8 cars. To use these charging points, you will need your own charging card.

Please note that charging an electric car at the villa itself is not permitted.

Why does the resort ask for all personal details at check-in?

We are legally required to keep an up-to-date registration of all guests staying at the resort. This information is used, among other things, for municipal administration and in case of emergencies.

Of course, we handle your personal data with care and in full compliance with GDPR regulations.

You can easily make a reservation online.

How can I reserve the sauna?

You can reserve the sauna via the reception by calling +31 (0)181 334444 or by sending an email to receptie@cittaromana.com.
The sauna is available during the swimming pool opening hours and can be used for €12.50 per hour.

FAQ after departure

When can I expect my deposit to be refunded?

The deposit will be refunded within 5 working days after departure, provided that the accommodation has been left in a tidy condition.

Where can I find lost and found items?

If we find any items in the accommodation, they are collected at the reception.
You can contact the reception to check if something has been found, or we will contact you ourselves.
If desired, we can send the lost item to you.
