The island of Voorne-Putten and its surroundings offer plenty of opportunities for cyclists. During your stay at Resort Città Romana, you can hire bicycles to explore the island. Due to the varied nature and towns, you will constantly discover new environments, making the routes interesting.

Brielse Meer route
The Brielse Meer Route is a beautiful 38 km cycle route that takes you along the shores of the Brielse Meer and the Oostvoornse Meer. Along the way, you will discover the charming villages of Brielle, Zwartewaal and Vierpolders, each with their own character and history. The route offers beautiful views over the water and takes you through quiet, rural areas, ideal for a relaxing bike ride.
Kiekendief route
Another option is the Kiekendiefroute, a 39 km cycle route that takes you through the beautiful dunes of Oostvoorne and the vast open countryside beyond. Along the way, you will enjoy the varied nature reserve, with dune panoramas, wide views and possibly an encounter with the many birds that make their home here. It is an ideal route for nature lovers looking for peace and quiet.
Voorne route
The Voorne route takes you across the western part of Voorne, passing the old fortified towns of Hellevoetsluis and Brielle. The route is 47 km long.
Mountainbiking
In Oostvoorne, you will find MTB Oostvoorne's mountain bike route, a specially constructed trail that takes you partly along Oostvoorne's old coastline and across the 1st Maasvlakte, constructed in the 1960s. The route also goes through the Geuzenbos, a protected nature reserve where you can even encounter wild horses.
