Open Air Museum De Duinhuisjes
The dune area of Voorne was once home to many characteristic dune farmhouses, which graced the unique landscape. The West Voorne Historical Society saved three of these cottages from destruction by moving them to the Openluchtmuseum De Duinhuisjes in Rockanje.
Biberbunker
Hidden in the dunes of Oostvoorne, near the Agatha House, lies an impressive relic from World War II: the Biberbunker. This huge concrete structure, with walls as much as 3 meters thick, is a remarkable piece of history. The bunker is part of a larger defensive position, of which only three were found in the Netherlands.
