Kite surfing

A sport introduced in The Netherlands some ten years ago. Kite surfing is an exciting variation of wind surfing, which has envolved very quickly in recent years.

  • Along the sea-facing side of the Brouwers dam is the North Sea beach, where there’s always something going on. The most common activity on the North Sea beach is without a doubt kite surfing.
  • The Brouwersdam is famous for being one of Europe’s best kite flying sports; a little wind, and the beach is full of kite flyers turning the sky into a spectacle of ‘dancing’ kites. Natural High recreational centre is a renowned kite surfing school that also offers other beach activities with instruction.
  • Experienced kite surfers have the option of renting gear equipment.
